Description:

This is a simple batch file that can be used to remove the file's and folders that McAfee's
"FreeScan" leaves behind.

IMPORTANT NOTES
----------------------

Before running this batch file, please ensure you have both removed the "McFreeScan Class" from the
Downloaded Program Files folder, and have re-started your computer (may get errors otherwise).

The Downloaded Program Files folder can be accessed either via;

Start > Run, type: c:\windows\downloaded program files

Replacing c:\windows with your drive letter and windows path

Or via;

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options

Click the General tab, then the following buttons;

	> Settings
		> View Objects

Please also make sure you have changed the paths in the .bat file, to the paths that reflect
your computer.

Once you have run this file, we strongly reccomend running a program such as RegCleaner, to
remove the registry entries that are also left behind by McAfee's FreeScan

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR WINDOWS 2000/XP/SERVER 2003 USERS
----------------------

You will need to change the 'deltree /y ' command, to 'del ' (note the space) as these versions of
Windows do not support the deltree command (I know I know, I don't know why MS removed it either).
